FUNctional Obedience!

Overview: “FUNctional Obedience” means we’ll dive into the world of play-based learning, using food and toys as tools to teach essential obedience concepts such as positions, recall,remote stop, and loose leash walking. Through interactive lectures and discussions,we’ll demonstrate how leveraging play can transform your dog’s learning experience and make obedience training an enjoyable adventure for both of you.

Who Should Attend: This seminar is tailored for dog enthusiasts of all levels, whether you’re a seasoned trainer or a first-time dog owner. No matter the age, breed, or size of your dog, this seminar will equip you with practical techniques to enhance your play and reinforcement system, fostering obedience, relationship building, and engagement.

Format: The seminar will feature a blend of engaging lectures and interactive discussions, aimed at equipping you with actionable strategies. Each working team will
have a morning and afternoon working session each day.

About Crystal Wing: Crystal has been training dogs since 2006 and traveled the nation learning and competing in various protection sports.  She is a certified trial helper through GSDCA for IGP and training decoy for mondioring. Through extensive traveling and training she has titled several different dogs in several different protection sports, dock diving, agility, weight pull and rally. She is training her newest K9 for human remains detection. Crystal is the Training Director for the Evolution Working Dog Club located in St. Louis, Mo. Crystal is the principal at CB K9 Training and is the training director at Evolution Working Dog Club in Missouri. Crystal is also a co-host of the popular K9 Detection Collaborative podcast, which explores all things detection dog, from scent sport to search and rescue and beyond, and has led several workshops and webinars for the Fenzi Dog Sports Academy. She recently retired from teaching high school art to become a full-time dog trainer and instructor.
