Flyball 1
New class starting in July! Sign up soon to save a spot!!!
Class Description: Flyball is a dog sport in which two teams of four dogs run in a relay race against each other. It is a fast, athletic and highly stimulating dog sport. In this class we will use positive training techniques to teach your dog the core skills while also emphasizing fun and safety.
Class fee: $100 + membership dues. Class is limited to twelve students.
Prerequisites:
You and your dog must have completed a basic obedience class at a dog training school (not necessarily TCOTC). Due to the physical requirements of flyball, your dog must be at least one year of age. Dogs that can retrieve a motionless ball, do a recall past other dogs and focus on their handler in a highly distracting environment will be most successful.
Registration process:
Club membership is required to attend classes at TCOTC. A membership application is included on the course application.
Fill out this application and send it with a check made out to TCOTC to the address on the application, or bring it to the front desk at TCOTC. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
