Rally Skills

This class is the first step for you and your dog learning the skills and understanding the signs in Rally-O.  Fundamental skills necessary for completing the signs are taught.  These include attention walking, fronts, finishes, pivoting, position changes, impulse control, and stays.  Continue the journey with Rally Intermediate and Advanced classes where you refine skills and practice sequences of signs and courses.

Prerequisites: Competition Bedrock (preferred) or Public Manners and Loose Leash Walking (see below)

Fee: $160 for 6 weeks.

Start Date: Thursday, June 12, 7:00 p.m.

Eligibility Requirement: To be eligible for this class students must meet one of the following:

• Option 1: Your dog is a graduate of the TCOTC Competition Bedrock class.
• Option 2:  Your dog has successfully completed Public Manners and Loose Leash Walking (both classes) at TCOTC.
• Option 3:  You have completed the skills self-assessment and have been approved for the class.

Apply: Eligible members interested in taking the next session should fill out an application form. Class size is very limited. A random drawing will be held to fill the class if we receive more eligible applicants than we can accommodate. All applicants will be notified, if we can offer them a spot in the class or not.
