The arrival of snow and cold doesn’t have to mean the end of outdoor fun with your dog. Winter weather provides opportunities to try out a host of new sports and activities, from sled dog racing to skijoring. Even if you don’t pursue a sport, you can use the skills, techniques, and equipment used in these sports to make your outdoor time with your dog this winter more enriching, safe, and fun! Join presenter Meg Beisner as she covers:

• An overview of some of the most popular winter dog sports
• Maintaining your dog’s health and safety while engaging in winter activities
• Appropriate gear
• Training for winter sports and activities
