Searching Outdoors – Singles and Pairs

These single session classes are held at various locations in the Twin Cities metro area, with goals of generalizing search behavior and understanding air flow outdoors. These classes are suitable for any dog searching for birch, anise, and clove. Each class will have 4 searches containing single hides or pairs of hides with a thorough discussion of the impact of airflow on the search. Searches may include containers, exteriors, and vehicles.

Crating will be out of your car. Heavy rain or thunder will cancel class. Specific site information (parking locations, additional considerations) will be provided upon registration.

Limited to 4 students per session, with a minimum of 2 required for a session. Open to TCOTC Membership.

• Friday June 28, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Veterans Park – Richfield – NACSW-strength odor, birch, anise, clove
• Friday, July 12, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. , Wright’s Lake Park, Bloomington – CPE-strength odor, birch, anise, clove
• Tuesday, July 23, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Silver Point Park, St. Anthony – NACSW-strength odor, birch, anise, clove
• Tuesday, July 30, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Northeast Park, Minneapolis – CPE-strength odor, birch, anise, clove
