We’re looking to add a part-time obedience trainer to TCOTC Camp K9 team. Do you love dogs? Are you experienced in positive-reinforcement training methods? Do you have 10-30 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays? Then we’d love to hear from you!
Our Camp K9 day training program continues to grow, and we need to add more staff to meet the demand. As a trainer, you will work one-on-one with our K9 “campers” to teach them skills in basic to intermediate obedience. You’ll work with the owner to prepare a plan for each dog, track its progress and provide report cards and homework to its owner to ensure continued progress. Each trainer in our program handles a maximum of four dogs, allowing sufficient one-on-one attention in an environment that is conducive to learning. You’ll gain satisfaction knowing that you are helping dogs become wonderful canine companions to their loving families.
