DESCRIPTION:Dogs (and cats\, birds\, and other animals) are used in TV commercials\, print advertising\, TV shows and movies all the time. How do they do it? What sorts of skills or behaviors do talent agents look for? How do you even get started? And what can you expect if your pet lands a gig? \nJoin longtime TCOTC member Karen Radford for an informational presentation on how to prepare your dog and yourself for opportunities in the media. Karen has trained dogs that have been hired for a variety of jobs\, including a full-length feature film\, and will share what she has learned\, including: \n\nTalent basics\nPortfolio creation\nWhat does the client want\nAuditioning\nYou Got the Job! Now what?\nWhat’s next?\n\nAttend in person at TCOTC or virtually over Zoom. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
