SUMMARY:AKC Virtual Agility Course Test 1 & 2
DESCRIPTION:Put all you learned in the Get Ready to Trial Seminar and enter the AKC Virtual ACT test on Sunday\, November 5!\n\n\nThe Agility Course Test (ACT) is an entry-level agility event designed to introduce dogs and their handlers to trialing in agility. It’s a great way to earn your first AKC agility title while getting some experience in a trial-like setting. ACT 1 is designed for the beginning dog to show basic sequencing and performance skills. ACT 2 requires an increased skill level shown by the additional number and types of obstacles to be performed. More details about the two tests are available here.\n\nTCOTC is offering two tests on November 5:\n\nACT 1 Standard Course\, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.\nACT 2 Standard Course\, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.\n\nFor each test\, we’ll set up two AKC-approved courses for you to video record your runs\, or have us record them for you. You then submit your videos to AKC for approval and your title. Each run is $15. AKC registration and ACT entry fees are additional fees that you pay separately to AKC.\n\nIs Your Dog Eligible to Enter? If your dog has not earned a title in any AKC agility class and is 15 months of age or older they are eligible! To earn an ACT 1 or ACT 2 title\, you need to complete two qualifying runs. We recommend that you sign up for Course A and Course B in the same hour. You can complete an ACT 1 and ACT 2 on the same day. You can also earn an ACT 2 title without successfully completing ACT 1.\n\nTo reserve your course time\, ENROLL HERE\n\nFor additional information on the ACT Test\, including how to submit a video entry\, visit the AKC Web site.
