DESCRIPTION:The Art of Play: Play as a Behavior and Building Playful Relationships\nMorning Session: “Play is a Behavior: Understanding and Leveraging Your Dog’s Natural Instincts” \nWorking Spots are limited to 10 teams. You will get at least 3 sessions with your dog in individual or group settings including a 10 minute coaching session. You’ll also get to audit the rest of the day. If you choose the morning session\, you’ll discover how to make play sessions more engaging and enjoyable for your dog by understanding their natural instincts! \nIn this session\, you will learn: \n\nThe components of the predatory motor pattern and how they manifest in different breeds influencing your dog’s play behavior.\nTechniques to identify your dog’s play preferences and tailor activities to their natural inclinations.\nHow to use a variety of toys and food\, including a food and toy hierarchy to maximize engagement and enjoyment.\n\nYou’ll come away with knowledge and tools to make play a vital part of your dog’s life. Through extensive traveling and training she has titled several different dogs in several different protection sports\, dock diving\, agility\, weight pull and rally. She is training her newest K9 for human remains detection. Crystal is the Training Director for the Evolution Working Dog Club located in St. Louis\, Mo. Crystal is the principal at CB K9 Training and is the training director at Evolution Working Dog Club in Missouri. Crystal is also a co-host of the popular K9 Detection Collaborative podcast\, which explores all things detection dog\, from scent sport to search and rescue and beyond\, and has led several workshops and webinars for the Fenzi Dog Sports Academy.
