SUMMARY:Canine Good Citizen Test
DESCRIPTION:Members and non-members are invited to take the Canine Good Citizen. The Canine Good Citizen title was designed by the AKC to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. It focuses on responsible pet ownership and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. \nThe skills tested include loose leash walking\, stay\, polite greeting\, walking through a crowd\, grooming\, a three minute supervised separation\, recall\, and working through distractions. She is training her newest K9 for human remains detection. Crystal is the Training Director for the Evolution Working Dog Club located in St. Louis\, Mo. Crystal is the principal at CB K9 Training and is the training director at Evolution Working Dog Club in Missouri. Crystal is also a co-host of the popular K9 Detection Collaborative podcast\, which explores all things detection dog\, from scent sport to search and rescue and beyond\, and has led several workshops and webinars for the Fenzi Dog Sports Academy.
