SUMMARY:Sniff N Go Scent Work Run Through
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a sniff-tastic opportunity to come and have your dog practice searching for odor in four elements. The odors used will be birch\, anise\, and clove at NACSW strength. The elements will be containers\, interiors\, exteriors\, and vehicles. We will offer 3-4 slots per half-hour from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. \nHow it works: \nA volunteer will meet you in the parking lot and get you started on exterior search areas first. Then you will be assisted to the interior search options. You can pick 4 searches from the 6 available searches. You can just let us know the day of the event what you want to search. \nEach team will have 10 minutes of search time and a choice of up to 4 searches: \n\n2 container searches – one search with multiple hides and at least one distractor and one with a single hide and no distractors\n2 interior searches  – a single hide search\, a multiple hide search that can be known or unknown\n1 exterior search – there will be no grass but plenty of dog pee – no more than 2 hides in this search\n1 vehicle search – multiple hide search\n\nYou may search a known or with unknown hide placement. Coaching/hinting is available on request\, but we are volunteers and not experts or instructors so please make sure you keep things in context and the spirit of fun. You may bring one guest to video or watch your searches. \nWe ask that you keep your dogs in your vehicle when not searching. And when going to and from search areas\, please keep at least 8 feet distance between you and any other dogs. \nCost is $20 for members\, $25 for non-members. \nREGISTER HERE
