TCOTC is pleased to present accomplished trainer and international agility competitor Kory Kaye’s seminar:

Circle Work: Find the Line! (When to collect; when to turn on cue)

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 9-11

Fri/Sat – Beginning / Intermediates – limited to 5 working teams per session (see below):

Simple, fun exercises with jumps and tunnels that teach BOTH obstacle focus and handler awareness, and can be set up in your own yard! Build the skills so your dog learns:

  • How to follow the line and focus forward, yet still be aware of your movement;
  • When to collect & when to turn on cue (even if handler is not close to the obstacle).
  • How to drive towards a tunnel or jump
  • Ideal for dogs that are always checking in, even when unnecessary, or are finding the line, even when not numbered by the judge.

Working spots are filled. Unlimited auditing spots available.

For Fri/Sat – beginning/intermediate, 2 half-day sessions: Pick one session:

  • Session 1: Fri afternoon – 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM AND Sat morning – 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon
  • Session 2: Fri evening – 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM AND Sat afternoon – 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

NOTE: Those with working spots may audit alternating sessions for free. See registration form.

Sunday – Advanced Applications – limited to 10 working teams:

Introduces and develops advanced applications of the Circle Work framework for experienced teams: participants on Fri/Sat or Kory’s previous Circle Work seminars, (or by instructor approval).

Working spots are filled. Unlimited auditing spots available.
