Changing Attitudes- A Specialty Class Offered at TCOTC
Is your dog easily distracted, unable to work off lead around other dogs, have difficulty concentrating, unable to control their impulses when excited?
The Changing Attitudes program is designed for dogs that participate in dog sports activities and pet dogs that need help developing focus and confidence. It is not suitable for aggressive dogs. You will learn techniques for helping your dog relax, learning to focus on you, and developing a strong relationship between you and your dog. You will need to bring a crate and a mat for your dog. Due to the special nature of this course, students should complete Changing Attitudes Information form prior to being accepted into class. Forms are available at the front desk or on the web.
The class will be 6 weeks long and starts Wednesday, January 27th at 8:00pm. Each session is 1 1/2 hours long. Class fee is $110, payable at signup. Bring a crate and a mat to class each week. Also bring your clicker and a variety of rewards (food and toy).
You must pay in full ($110), sign up at the front desk and fill out a Changing Attitudes survey (also located at the front desk) to save a spot in this popular class.
