Our dogs’ learning and development doesn’t start and end with basic obedience training. That’s why TCOTC offers opportunities to for you and your dog to engage in enriching and fun activities from the moment you bring your puppy home through basic training and well beyond.

Adopting a new puppy? You’ll want to start socializing your new pup right away, and TCOTC can help. We offer drop-in Puppy Socialization classes Monday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for puppies up to 12 weeks, and a “Tweeners” class for puppies 13 -20 weeks from 5:50 p.m. – 6:50 p.m.

Are you an experienced dog handler with a new puppy? Then check out Puppy Prodigy! This 9-week class is designed for people interested in dog sports (competitive obedience, agility, flyball, etc.). Puppies must start before they reach 6 months old. This class can be repeated until your puppy reaches one year of age.

Basic Training for puppies and adult dogs is offered Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. TCOTC uses positive reinforcement clicker training to teach basic commands like “sit,” and “down,” as well as skills such as loose leash walking, coming when called, going to a mat or place and handler focus. Continue learning and having fun with your dog with our Tier 2 & 3 training classes. From Beyond Basic to Reliable Recall, TCOTC offers a variety of classes to strengthen your dog’s skills. Interested in obedience competition? Our Ring Confidence class can prepare you and your dog for a positive experience in the ring!
